The MacKenzie Class comprised 4 ships, displacing 2890 tons, and 366 feet in length. As originally configured the class carried 1 twin 3"70 and 1 twin 3"50 calibre rapid firing gun mounts,(exept Qu'Appelle which carried 2 twin 3"50's) and two triple "Limbo" anti submarine mortars in a recessed well aft. Two triple Mk.32 torpedo tubes were added in the early 80's. These four ships eventually formed CanComTrainRon, the Esquimalt based training squadron. All four have been, or will be sunk as artificial reefs in the Pacific.
